We provide secondary students from low-income families with scholarships and mentoring to help lessen their families financial burdens, and to empower them to achieve their educational goals. Although academic performance/grades are important, we try to look beyond that and recognize/reward students based on their determination to succeed, leadership potential, and of course their need for financial assistance. One hundred and fifty dollar ($100) scholarships are awarded annually, to cover the costs of school fees, uniforms, textbooks, materials and transportation. All scholarship students are required to complete a grade-level assessment test. Student achievement on these assessments is used to determine the status of a school's continued participation in the program.
